Professional services we offer in Rhinoplasty
All incisions stay inside the nostrils. There are no visible external scars. This technique suits first-time rhinoplasty and cases where refinements are moderate. Recovery is often straightforward with less disruption to nasal support.
Rather than aggressive restructuring, we focus on targeted changes to bone and cartilage. Muscles and ligaments are preserved where possible for a natural look and stable long-term result.
When the nose needs more extensive reshaping or revision, an open approach—with a small incision under the tip—gives the surgeon full access. We recommend the technique that best fits your anatomy and goals.
We examine your nose and face, discuss your goals, and explain the difference between closed and open rhinoplasty. We recommend the approach that fits your case—refinement with closed technique or open when more change is needed.
Under anaesthesia, incisions are made (inside the nostrils for closed, or with a small external cut for open). Bone and cartilage are reshaped; the nose is then supported with a splint. The procedure typically takes one to several hours depending on the plan.
A splint is worn for about a week. Swelling and bruising are normal and usually improve within two to four weeks. The final shape becomes clear as swelling subsides over several months.
A more balanced, natural nose shape emerges as healing completes. With closed rhinoplasty, no external scars are visible. We give you clear aftercare instructions for the best outcome.
Splint in place. Rest and head elevation help. Swelling and bruising are normal. Avoid blowing the nose or glasses on the bridge.
Splint removed. Most swelling starts to go down. You can usually return to light activities. Nose may still feel stiff or blocked.
Swelling continues to decrease. Nose contour becomes clearer. Breathing and sensation improve. Avoid impact to the nose.
Final shape visible. Residual swelling in the tip may take up to a year to settle. Natural, stable result.
Closed rhinoplasty uses only incisions inside the nostrils, so there are no visible external scars. Open rhinoplasty adds a small incision under the nose tip to allow more extensive reshaping. Closed is often used for first-time surgery and moderate changes; open for revision or larger changes.
The nose is made of bone and cartilage that must be reshaped with precision, and it sits in the centre of the face, so small changes affect the whole look. Surgeons balance aesthetics with function (breathing) and aim to preserve support structures.
When the goal is refinement with minimal disruption—targeted changes to bone and cartilage and less impact on soft tissues. It is often chosen for first-time rhinoplasty and when the required changes are moderate rather than major.
Most swelling improves in 2–4 weeks. The final shape, especially at the tip, can take 6–12 months to fully settle. We will explain what to expect at each stage.
