Combined Approach
Some patients need implants in one area (e.g. chin) and contouring in another (e.g. cheek or jaw). We plan the combination that best matches your measurements and goals. Surgery is under general anaesthesia and usually takes about one hour.

Consultation
We take facial measurements and compare them to ideal proportions. We identify whether you need added projection (implants) or reduction (contouring) at the chin, jaw or cheekbones, and plan the best approach for your profile.
Surgery
Under general anaesthesia, incisions are made inside the mouth. Implants are placed, or bone is contoured, or both. The procedure typically lasts around one hour. There are no visible cuts on the skin of the face.
Observation & Discharge
You are observed for about six hours after surgery. Once stable, you can go home; a hospital stay is not usually needed. We give you clear instructions for the first days: liquid and smooth food on day one, and when you can resume normal activities.
Recovery & Results
Swelling is normal and improves over one to two weeks. Most people return to work by the third day. The final contour becomes clear as swelling subsides. The result is long-lasting and natural.

Most swelling improves. Chin and jaw contour become clearer. Stitches inside the mouth dissolve or are removed as planned. Resume normal diet when your surgeon allows.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are incisions inside the mouth?
Chin and cheekbone implants are placed through cuts inside the mouth so that no scar is visible on the skin of the face. The same approach can be used for some contouring work. You will receive instructions for oral care after surgery.
Do I need to stay in hospital?
No. The operation is done under general anaesthesia and usually takes about one hour. After around six hours of observation you can go home. An overnight stay is not normally required.
When can I go back to work?
Most patients return to work on the third day. We recommend liquid and smooth food on the first day and a soft diet for a short period. Your surgeon will give you precise advice at discharge.
